Tool4MEDLife

The Tool4MEDLife project aims to study dietary habits and adherence to the Mediterranean Diet in targeted Mediterranean populations. By analyzing food habits and socio-economic factors, the project seeks to better understand individuals' nutritional status and health, as well as the influences on healthy eating practices.

Additionally, the project focuses on studying and designing new and healthy foods derived from extra virgin olive oil and dairy products, aiming to enhance sustainability, nutritional quality, acceptability, accessibility, and attractiveness. Simultaneously, tailored educational strategies will be developed to improve adherence to the Mediterranean Diet and increase awareness of healthy eating behaviors, with the ultimate goal of raising public awareness about the importance of a balanced and sustainable diet to promote physical and mental well-being and reduce the risks associated with obesity and diet-related non-communicable diseases.
